My Expedition to Peru

Welcome to the 'Peru Expedition', My name is Caroline and I am trying to raise £3475 for an expedition to Peru which will last 28 days! And will take me completely out of my comfort zone.

I have many reasons for going to Peru but the main one is that a percentage of the money raised will go towards a communtity project that the group and I will be involved with whilst we are out there. This could be anything from building things for the village such as a school or even a well, to helping them teach the children english or helping with key skills in the community showing them how to be more economical and environmentally friendly.

From a more personal side I believe that my trip to Peru will help me to become a more rounded person, by building my life skills, teaching me to cope in certain situations and conditions, challenging me and broadening my outlook on life.

• Train myself to cope in certain situations and conditions (altitudes, climate, etc.)
• Change my outlook on life
• Challenge myself
• And most importantly to participate in community projects.
